What is a home inspection?

A professional inspection provides an objective, visual evaluation of the condition and components of the home. It identifies visual problems and defects, allowing you to make better, well-informed decisions.

How long will the inspection take?

Inspections usually take between 2 and 4 hours. Actual times depend on the size, age, condition and optional systems present at your house.

Should you attend the inspection?

We encourage you to be present for the inspection or a walkthrough at the end of the inspection, if possible. This will allow us to show you our findings and answer any questions you might have. If you are unable to attend, our detailed report and digital pictures will help to make any findings clear.

Who needs a home inspection?

Buyers: To be educated about the property and any issues that may require special considerations, repairs, negotiations, or planning.

Sellers: To find and resolve unknown issues BEFORE the buyer's inspection. This eliminates surprises that may require additional negotiations and allows you to have greater control and possibly save money on repairs.

New Home Owners: In the 11th month before your builder's one-year warranty expires. You will discover issues while the builder is still responsible and available to make repairs.
